Law 7-182, the “Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988”, was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 7-373, which was referred to the Committee on Consumer and Regulatory Affairs. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on July 12, 1988, and September 27, 1988, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on October 13, 1988, it was assigned Act No. 7-240 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review.
