Effect of Amendments

The 2012 amendment by D.C. Law 19-168 substituted “of benefits” for “in benefits” in the section heading; and rewrote the section.

The 2013 amendment by D.C. Law 20-61 repealed (c), (d), and (f).

The 2015 amendment by D.C. Law 20-155 deleted “in the District” following “TANF benefits” in (a).

Short Title

Section 5151 of D.C. Law 20-61 provided that Subtitle N of Title V of the act may be cited as the “Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Time Limit Amendment Act of 2013”.
