Law 9-91, the “District of Columbia Depository Act of 1977 Amendment Act of 1992,” was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 9-180, which was referred to the Committee on Economic Development. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on January 7, 1992, and February 4, 1992, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on February 21, 1992, it was assigned Act No. 9-159 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review. D.C. Law 9-91 became effective on April 8, 1992.
