Law 9-82, the “Condominium Act of 1976 Technical and Clarifying Amendment Act of 1992,” was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 9-240, which was referred to the Committee on Consumer and Regulatory Affairs. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on December 17, 1991, and January 7, 1992, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on January 28, 1992, it was assigned Act No. 9-140 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review. D.C. Law 9-82 became effective on March 20, 1992.
