Law 7-229, the “Victim’s Rights Amendment Act of 1988,” was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 7-586, which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Signed by the Mayor on August 1, 1988, it was assigned Act No. 7-236 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review.
