Law 21-74, the “Higher Education Licensure Commission Amendment Act of 2015” was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 21-295. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on Nov. 3, 2015, and Dec. 1, 2015, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on Dec. 29, 2015, it was assigned Act No. 21-250 and transmitted to Congress for its review. D.C. Law 21-74 became effective February 27, 2016.
