The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on Oct. 2, 2015, and Nov. 3, 2015, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on Nov. 23, 2015, it was assigned Act No. 21-203 and transmitted to Congress for its review. D.C. Law 21-61 became effective February 2, 2016.
