The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on June 24, 2014, and July 14, 2014, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on August 1, 2014, it was assigned Act No. 20-416 and transmitted to Congress for its review. D.C. Law 20-242 became effective April 24, 2015.
