Law 16-97, the “Residential Energy Conservation Tax Credit Illegal Dumping Enforcement Amendment Act of 2005”, was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 16-461 which was referred to the Committee on Finance and Revenue. Signed by the Mayor on February 27, 2006, it was assigned Act No. 16-292 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review. D.C. Law 16-97 became effective on May 12, 2006.
