Law 12-132, the “District of Columbia Unemployment Compensation Federal Conformity Amendment Act of 1998,” was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 12-415, which was referred to the Committee on Government Operations. Signed by the Mayor on April 20, 1998, it was assigned Act No. 12-332 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review. D.C. Law 12-132 became effective on July 24, 1998.
